Welcome to the Grand Launch of Moomettesgram’s Favorite Recipes!

Living in New England is an astounding experience. We enjoy all four seasons, and each one brings a different experience at the table.

I grew up in a very historic town in Connecticut. When younger, I often babysat in homes that had beehive brick ovens and slanted floorboards. My imagination was stirred trying to envision what it was like to live in the 1700’s and 1800s and do my cooking over an open Colonial hearth.

If you’ve ever traveled throughout the 6 New England States you will experienced the diverse traditions unique to each state; Pure Maple Syrup, Vermont Cheese, fresh Beach Plum Jams and Jellies; Corn Chowders and more.

My grandmother lived to be 101, and passed down many of her favorite recipes to me, which I’d like to share with you.

Now that I’ll be retiring and starting a second career as a work-at-home mom, I’ll be passing along all my favorite kitchen tips that I’ve developed in my 35+ years of marriage, along with any new ones I find.

Enjoy traveling to New England vicariously, sit a spell, stay for a bite to eat ~ we’ll keep the coffee warm for you!
